Very very loud hotel. If you want to sleep I suggest staying somewhere else. Construction, night club, noisy motorists, and the ferry horn that goes off at 6am every 30 minutes are what drove me to leave my stay early. Hotel staff was friendly, room was nice, great location, but just too loud. Unbearable really.

VERY LOUD I am currently staying here and have not slept in 2 nights..extremely frustrated..I have prepaid for 2 weeks and am considering writing off the payment and going somewhere else..I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS HOTEL

Stayed for 3 nights. Upon check-in we are taken to a dingy room which smelled like mould mixed with industrial strength chemicals. We mention this to Frederico whose response is to shrug his shoulders. When pressed, he says ‘speak to the manager or you can look for another hotel’ We speak to the manager, are shown a few more rooms (which mostly smell the same) and are finally given something where you can breathe. However, it does not get better. The toilet does not flush after being used a few times because the water tank does not fill. Had to put water from the shower to fill water tank to flush. There is water leaking from the toilet after too many attempts to flush. Internet only works 5 min at a time and need to keep logging in. On thé last night, we call the manager again who assures us someone will be up in a few min to fix the toilet and internet so I can complete my airline check-in and that she will personally come to inspect. Hours later, still waiting and it’s midnight now. And the final straw, this place is next to a hostel - loud music and drunk people making stupid noises. Explanation - sorry, we called the police but it’s out of our hands. Again, it is now midnight!!! Really???? Then why are you charging high end hotel prices???! For what?! This place is a joke without any care for its guests.

EXTREMELY LOUD!!!!! We booked a couple days at this hotel after seeing the many great reviews. Unfortunately, the hotel was incredibly loud. There was an open area shared with some outdoor nightclub right behind it. Looking at the pictures it seemed like Bahia would be a romantic quiet hotel.... it is completely the opposite. We complained a few times, the front desk offered to change rooms but would be even louder because closer to the party. The kind of party was a LOUD ECHO with vibrating floor. Ppl playing drinking games and screaming. Unable to sleep, unable to watch TV. The hotel management was unable to accommodate us with a quieter room or to request from the bar to turn the volume down. This hotel should be advertised as a nightclub or some hostel. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE

Awesome hotel for the price. Clean comfortable room w/ good sized mini fridge. Safe. Great water pressure. Bay view room had a phenomenal view of sunset over Cancun. Super friendly staff.
